Every year in the month of October, Dacotrans Honduras dresses in pink in solidarity with all the people who fight against Breast Cancer. We also use this month to raise awareness of what breast cancer is, its symptoms and ways to diagnose it so that every woman can detect it in time and be healthy.
On October 9, Doctor Erick Vásquez of the League Against Cancer gave a talk on “Breast Cancer Awareness” to the collaborators of Dacotrans Honduras in the San Pedro Sula office in person and the Tegucigalpa office via zoom with The objective is for our collaborators to obtain knowledge about what breast cancer is, its risk factors, symptoms and the importance of early detection. This month we join the fight against breast cancer, a disease that affects millions of people around the world. It is essential that we are all informed and aware of the importance of early detection and self-care.
Having regular checkups and mammograms can make a difference, early detection significantly increases the chances of successful treatment.
Learning how to perform breast self-examination is a simple but crucial step. Knowing your body will help you identify any changes.
This type of talks contributes to a more informed and supportive work environment and can positively impact the health and well-being of collaborators.
Let us remember that support and solidarity are essential in this fight, together we can make a difference and create a more informed and aware environment.
